File Official Ethics Complaints against Unethical officers of The House of Representatives.
The Ethics Committee may review information relating to allegations that a current House Member, officer or employee may have violated the Code of Official Conduct or any applicable rules, laws, or regulations governing the performance of official duties or the discharge of official responsibilities. The Committee’s investigative authority generally includes conduct that occurred after January 3, 2019, or that is directly related to alleged violations that occurred since that date.
Every branch of our government is held to a strict code of ethics. We have the right as citizens to file official complaints against House Representatives that are not following the will of the people, House Decorum, or the Constitution. Filing the complaints is easy and confidential. They are brought before an Ethics committee to answer for the complaints. Ask for the Representative to be censured when making the complaint.
If you have information that you believe the Committee should consider, send in your complaint. This is part of our Democratic process. Each branch has a separate committee, so it is important to address your complaints with the correct committee.
Note: House Ethics complaints don't have to be notarized and can be sent online anonymously.
In accordance with House Rule XI, clause 3(r)(2), the Committee will accept outside information from the public through the provided form.
