Ethics Complaints: unethical Representative Attorneys

File Official Ethics Complaints

United States Representatives who are attorneys are held to a different ethical standard.  They swear an Attorney oath to become an attorney, and are required to first and foremost, support to Constitution of the United States.

Part of that oath is a very strict code of Ethics. Failure to adhere to their oath of admission and the preamble, can result in disciplinary actions, including disbarment.

They are required by law to respond in writing to each complaint, which goes against their permanent record.  When filling out these forms, be aware that you will need to have your complaint signed in front of a notary, so be concise in your complaint.  Make sure to give examples for your complaint as to how they have committed an ethics violation.

You don't need an attorney

File Official Ethics Complaints against Unethical Representative Attorneys who are violating our Constitutional rights. With enough complaints we can keep these unethical and Unconstitutional lawmakers busy, and affect their future careers.  If they don't want to uphold their oath, we the people will hold them accountable.

And NO - You don't have to be a lawyer to file a complaint against a lawyer, nor do you need a lawyer to help file the complaint.  This is just given to help your complaint have the largest impact with the most concise citations.

Note:  Complaints must be "certified" and "sworn" statements, which means they must be notarized.  We have included a template with a notary block, but notary requirements vary from state to state.  The notary you meet with should be aware of the type of notarization is necessary based on the language included on the Official form.

Do it right!

When filling out these forms, be aware that you will need to have your complaint signed in front of a notary, so be concise in your complaint.   Representative swear an oath again when they become official officer of the state or federal governments.  Failure to adhere to their oath of admission can result in disciplinary actions, including disbarment.  There are a number of offenses that can get them put before the disciplinarian board.  Each complaint is taken seriously, as long as it is done properly.  Just as a judge awards an attorney the right to practice law, they can also take that right away.  This is taken very seriously.

When filling out these forms, be aware that you will need to have your complaint signed in front of a notary, so be concise in your complaint.  If you are  not comfortable, I have some examples of language to include in your complaint.  I have included both a blanket template for Due Process, and I have created a letter for Attorney General Pamela Bondi.

petition for recall elections

Perhaps you aren't willing to wait until the next election to get your state representative out of office. If that is the case, and they are not following the will of the people, or are attempting to create laws that are UnConstitution, you have the right to seek their recall.  Each State has a different process so be sure to contact the Secretary of State in your state for that information.

Once you alert the Secretary of State of your intent to file a petition and get approval for a recall election, you only have a limited amount of file the petitions with the correct amount of signatures, so you will need to hustle. The process to remove an elected official from office is different for State officers versus Federal officers.

Thankfully within our State governments, we actually have more power.  Each state's Constitution has different rules about recall Elections. Visit your state's Secretary of State for information on how your state's Constitution handles recall elections.
